Job Description: The leader in web-based collaboration software designed for online education, language learning and live interactive communications, is currently looking for a K-12 Regional Sales Manager - North (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, NY, NJ, DE, OH, TN, KY). - Direct selling of content authoring and collaboration tools into K-12 education - Responsible for all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, needs analysis, product demonstrations, closing and ongoing account management - Maintain high visibility in the assigned geographic marketplace - Develop and grow relationships with strategic partner representatives - Participate in marketing initiatives including trade shows - Some domestic travel (approximately 1-3 times per quarter) - Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products - Maintain client and prospect information in company database - Remain well-informed about current industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about the education industry - Meet and exceed sales quotas while adhering to sales rules of engagement
Requirements: - Demonstrated prior sales success including 5+ years of consultative sales experience - Experience selling into the K-12 markets - Success in selling enterprise-wide software collaborative tools - Strategic approach to identifying potential clients and their needs while at the same time meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives - Strong understanding of technology - Excellent interpersonal skills - Detail oriented, strong organizational skills - Energy, drive, commitment, passion - Strong problem solving skills - Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset - Small company experience is desired - BS/BA degree required.
